On September 31, 1998, Adam Yauch and wife Dechen Wangdu welcomed the arrival of a daughter, whom they named Tenzin Losel. She is called Losel, or Losey by people to whom she is close.

Through Losel's funny drawings, which her father posted at Oscilloscope.net, we gleam that she has the same sense of humor as her father.

Losel may be heard on the Beastie Boys song "Shazam!" on To the 5 Boroughs. She is the voice in the sample at the end of the song that says "I'm gonna tell on you!"
