Chris "Wag" Wagner is the bassist for the band Mary's Danish, a member of the Latch Brothers (one of Mike Diamond's side projects), and Mike Diamond's brother-in-law. He is married to Kim Davis-Wagner, Tamra Davis' sister.

While Wag was a part of Mary's Danish, the band developed a strong fan base. It seemed like they were on the verge of wide-scale stardom. For unknown reasons, Mary's Danish never found huge commercial success nor did they obtain heavy MTV airplay.

In April 1991, Beastie Boys performed at a benefit concert for Wag at the Hollywood Palladium. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Thelonious Monster, and comedian Roseanne Barr were also on the bill. The concert raised $70,000 to help Wag, who needed hip replacement surgery.

Wag played with DFL when the band was trying to figure out a permanent line-up.
