Although this clip incorporates a fair amount of contemporary footage, a greater part of time is spent back in 1985. This was when the Beastie Boys were the opening act on Madonna’s Virgin Tour. At the time, MTV filmed several interviews with the Beastie Boys and Rick Rubin. The footage may look familiar because MTV has used it in the past for other retrospective shows, like the 1998 Beastieography. |
