He not only brought along basketballs for the band, he also brought with him a 10 foot high portable basketball hoop. Perhaps he thought that these peace offerings would make the Beastie Boys more comfortable during the interview. He also brought along an armful of old 12" records to have the band sort through with him. This interviewer’s unconventional approach was admirable and worth noting. |
