The first part of this news clip featured a brief interview with Adam Yauch conducted on December 18, 1998. During the course of the interview Adam announced that the 1999 Tibetan Freedom Concert would take place simultaneously in several countries. Following that announcement, MTV’s Kurt Loder read a statement from Mike D in regard to Capitol Record’s decision to pull MP3 tracks from the Beastie Boys website and replace them with streaming RealAudio instead. |
