There was no such luck though. Instead this footage was limited to the Beastie Boys accepting an award presented to them by Chuck D (of Public Enemy) on behalf of MTV and Rock the Vote. The Beastie Boys along with Salt N Peppa were honored with Patrick Lippert awards for the work that they’ve done in educating and empowering America’s youth about social and political issues. The event was held at the Supper Club, in New York, NY and it is worth noting that Fiona Apple performed. |
