During their conversation with Dr. Dre, the Beastie Boys mention that the album will be released in two months (it was released in March 1992). Thus, one can conclude that this appearance took place in the month of January. One can also conclude that it happened on a Thursday, because Run DMC were scheduled to appear the next day on “live Friday.” Towards the end of the show, Dr. Dre invited Beastie Boys back to hang out with Run DMC the very next day. He went on to say “it will be just like 1986.” |
