Whereas Space Shower specials usually show the band hanging out and performing in Japan, this one was different in that it followed the Beastie Boys around Los Angeles, CA. It was shot entirely with a Hi-8 video camera and thus has a home video feel. For example, the viewer follows Adam Horovitz and former wife Ione Skye into a coffee shop and then back onto the street where their Range Rover was parked. Normally that would have been where a large television crew would have decided to shut off their cameras, instead of leaving them rolling. |
