As the Freddy and the group walked through Chinatown introducing music videos, they stopped to talk in noteworthy locations such as Confucius Square and also 59 Chrystie Street. This interview is where the rumor about a song entitled “The Argument” first got started. Before Fab Five Freddy introduces the music video for the Biz Markie song “Just a Friend,” Mike D states that Biz Markie and the Beastie Boys are going to team up on a record called “The Argument.” To paraphrase Mike D, the song was said to be about arguing different sides of a story with the Biz doing one half and the Beastie Boys the other. |
