Beastie Boys
"This song, like the majority of songs we did, came out of a jam. Mario C. always kept the DAT tape rolling so we had reference
to what we were playing. There was a song by Miles Davis called 'Miles on
the Corner' and it was also sort of a jam piece. I think Ad-Rock came up
with the title. I basically just starting doing a percussion solo over the beat. The original jam was about 7-8 minutes long and Mario C. edited it to what is now on the Ill Communication record. I didn't know that it would be included on the album, but I think it's cool that there is a song named after me on a Beastie Boys record." - Eric Bobo, March 2003
