1994 Australian Tour
Title: 1994 Australian Tour
Year: 1994
Country: Australia
Notes: Featuring an image similar to that of the Australian Tour Posters, this laminate pass is incredibly rare. As it states on the front, DJ Hurricane and Helmet were the two opening acts. It is possible that some of these passes may be available through Helmet collectors that are not as big into tour passes as most Beastie Boys fans are. On either side of the DJ Buddha, you'll notice that X-Large and X-Girl were the tour sponsors.

1994 Ill Access - Tour Pass
Title: 1994 Ill Access - Tour Pass
Year: 1994
Notes: The image on the front is of a family having a vacation photo taken. The Beastie family toured day after day throughout 1994 and 1995 so this is a fitting pass concept. This style of pass was worn by those that were a part of the band's inner circle.
On the back, is an image taken from the artwork of the Ill Communication booklet. You'll notice that the name of the original wearer of this laminate pass was printed at the top and has been obstructed here to maintain secrecy.
1994 Japan Tour
Title: 1994 Japan Tour
Year: 1994
Country: Japan
Notes: The image on the front of this laminate pass is unmistakable Beastie Boys 1994, even if the the pass was not already dated. The karate kicker found his way onto a variety of licensed Beastie Boys items: stickers, T-shirts, and even window clings.
This pass was the type that the band wore while on the road in the Far East.

1994 Lollapalooza - All Areas Pass
Title: 1994 Lollapalooza - All Areas Pass
Year: 1994
Country: United States
Type: All Areas
Notes: Laminated pass used to gain access to anywhere at the Lollapalooza festival.

1994 Lollapalooza - Local Crew Production Pass
Title: 1994 Lollapalooza - Local Crew Production Pass
Year: 1994
Country: United States
Type: Local Crew Production Pass
Notes: The Lollapalooza 1994 Tour went on for days and days so in theory there should be an abundance of passes from all of the people involved with making it a reality. In reality though not that many passes have turned up.
This one is stamped with the position of the intended wearer plus a date that it was to be used on.

1994 Lollapalooza - Local Crew Production Pass
Title: 1994 Lollapalooza - Local Crew Production Pass
Year: 1994
Country: United States
Type: Photo Pass
Notes: This pass was intended to be used by a photographer or journalist to gain better access to the band during the 1994 Lollapalooza tour.
The fact that it has been stamped "Beasties" makes it more desirable than had it been stamped Smashing Pumpkins or any of the other acts that played on the tour. Plus this one has the date July 15th, 1994 stamped on it so that a person can identify which city it was from.

1994 Lollapalooza - St. Paul Chicago
Title: 1994 Lollapalooza - St. Paul Chicago
Year: 1994
Country: United States
Type: Production / Field Crew Staff
Notes: This is one of the smaller sized Beastie Boys passes. Although it does not say Beastie Boys anywhere on it, this pass was worn by those in charge of the show production. It features the Lollapalooza like icon of the hip Buddha.
The odd thing about this pass is that it was created to be used specifically in two cities: St. Paul, Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois. Most passes are either good for the entire tour or are made specific for one night only.

1994 Lollapalooza - VIP
Title: 1994 Lollapalooza - VIP
Year: 1994
Country: United States
Type: VIP Pass
Notes: This laminate pass is one of the larger sized Beastie Boys passes in existence. Several of these that have not been stamped with the name of the intended band have showed up on some of the online auctions sites like eBay.
This one happens to have the "Beastie" stamped on it, as well as the intended wearer's name below.
