Notes: Although the band did not play very many dates while in Italy, this pass was created specifically for their time in that country. It uses the Check Your Head Glen Friedman cover photograph, but the familiar HAZE style lettering is absent.
This was the type of pass actually worn by members of the band, not to be confused with a working crew pass.

These passes were created to be used either by photographers (noted at the top) or by stage/security crew members that were hired locally.
Usually when you see this style pass the top has been scribbled out with a black sharpie marker and then dated. This means that it was not used as by photographer.
When the Beastie Boys road crew rolls into your city, they usually employ a group of local venue security guys as well as local stage hands to help set up the production.

Notes: This laminate pass is different from the more common sticker backed fabric patches that are used on some tours for VIPs. A VIP (very important person) can be anyone from an old friend to a family or band member. For example, this pass would more than likely have been the type worn by Ione Skye if she had attended one of Adam Horovitz's concerts in 1992.
