Hillary Snyder has worked with the Beastie Boys on a number of their music videos. He was a production designer for the "Alive," "Intergalactic," "Body Movin'," and "Ch-Check It Out" videos.

As production designer, Snyder was responsible for creating the look of the video sets. To create the look of the Tokyo street scenes for the "Intergalactic" video, Snyder had a huge model with buildings and automobiles built. This model became the arena for the showdown between the Robot and the Octopus Monster. For "Body Movin'," Snyder and the production staff had the task of recreating the look and feel of the movie Diabolik.

Snyder served as the art director for the 1998 film Free Tibet, which Adam Yauch produced.

Like so many of the Beastie Boys' associates, Snyder is a friend from the band's school days.
