This performance was for a taping of the Dick Clark television special "In Person from the Palace." Beastie Boys couldn't do the scheduled taping with the other guests that were on the show because they had a gig at the Greek Theatre that night, so Beastie Boys taped their performance separately at 3 pm.

BRIEFLY: The controversial Beastie Boys put on a relatively G-rated face when they taped a concert spot late Monday night for CBS' In Person From the Palace. The audience, as usual, stormed the stage. It will air July 10.
